Swiss Sports History Goes Public
2020
Experiencing, preserving and researching sports history
The digital platform "Swiss Sports History" facilitates access to the history of sports in Switzerland and ensures that the cultural heritage of sports is preserved. Education and information for the media, researchers and the general public are at the centre of this national portal. An interactive online tool and direct contact with contemporary witnesses are intended to sensitise young people to the fact that it is no coincidence who played and plays which sport and when. Including and excluding phenomena in sport are also addressed in particular.
