Kinderrechte in der Tasche

2023

Exploration via app for children

The project of the Ostschweizer Fachhochschule, the University of Teacher Education Lucerne and UNICEF aims to familiarise children with their rights via an app. On the one hand, this fulfils the mandate of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and, on the other hand, it is in line with children's media behaviour. Not every child knows their own rights, as reports from the Swiss Children's Rights Network show. Information on the topic of children's rights is often aimed at adults and is now mostly provided via print media, although children and young people are increasingly obtaining information via smartphones.
